" Over the past 5 years, Cape Breton University has had Bolashak Scholarship students from Kazakhstan enrolled in the Bachelor of Engineering Technology Program - Petroleum. Spring Convocation 2011 at CBU marks the graduation and departure of the final group of Bolashak Scholars from our campus and we would like to congratulate them and wish them well as they return to Kazakhstan to begin their technical careers in a rapidly growing industry. Nazgul Zhexembayeva is one of only three female students that joined the group of Petroleum students at CBU. With students from the Middle East, Africa, Asia and North America - Nazgul joined a very International class and quickly became a strong team player and a team leader. A University education is about learning, broadening your experience and knowledge - as much as CBU provided that opportunity to Nazgul - she brought to CBU a positive attitude and strong technical background that enabled her to be recognized for her academic achievements and contribution to student life."
