A-Level Course or Advanced Level Course is a program that was designed specifically to prepare students fully for degree study at the British universities. Gradually the program has become internationally-acclaimed and now is a universally recognized entry requirement not only in the UK but worldwide. Usually A-Level students choose 4-5 subjects they will major in at the university. At the end of each academic year they take exams. The results achieved at the exams are taken into account when enter the university. Students’ knowledge is assessed throughout the entire course according to 5-point grading scale: A being the highest and E – the lowest. Students should carefully choose the major of study. The Foundation Program is designed for students who have completed 12 years of schooling but do not meet the English language entry requirements for university study or whose secondary school-leaving qualification is not comparable to that required at the UK universities. The program structure involves IELTS preparation and a diversity of compulsory subjects: Academic English, Cultural Studies, Maths and Computer Science. Students can choose between two Foundation routes: Humanities (Social Studies, Business and Economics) and Engineering (Biology, Physics and Chemistry). The Foundation Program is a one-year academic program.

The program gives you everything you need to succeed in your postgraduate study at the university – you can develop your language and academic skills, study subjects under majors chosen and prepare for exams in accordance with the curriculum. Business and Finance and Social Studies are the most popular among the Pre-Master’s degree programs.
Pre-Master’s Program prepares students fro study in the British and American universities. Under Pre-Master’s program you can:
- develop your English language skills to meet the entry requirements of the Master’s programs of the UK universities;
- prepare for and take IELTS test. IELTS score achieved determines the level of the English language proficiency;
- gain additional knowledge in subjects you will study at the British academic institutions;
- reach the appropriate level for postgraduate study in the UK.
Pre-Master’s program usually takes 9, 6 or 3 months.

- Duration of the program: from 3 to 9 months;
- Entry requirements may vary from university to university:
- 3 months is for students with IELTS score of 6.0
- 6 months is for students with IELTS score of 5.5
