            <description>Meetings with representatives of UK universities were held at the Center for International Programs.Representatives of the University of Glasgow, University College London, Oxford Brookes University and University of Warwick visited Center for International Programs.They discussed current circumstances and issues of further development of cooperation under the “Bolashak” International Program. Great Britain traditionally has been one of the countries, which the scholars of the “Bolashak” International Program prefer the most. At the moment, there are 7 scholars studying at Glasgow University, 35 at University College London, 10 at Oxford Brookes University and 22 University of Warwick.</description>

            <description>Baurzhan Kassymbergebayev the Acting President of JSC “Center for International Programs” met with the Ambassador of Hungary in the Republic of Kazakhstan, Nemed Yanosh. The parties discussed bilateral cooperation under the “Bolashak” International Program and opportunity for development of cooperation with the universities of the country of the highest rank. Participants of the meeting agreed to further development of partnership relations under carrying out educational projects. There are two scholars now studying at Central Europe University in Budapest, Hungary, and 8 universities in Hungary enter the List of higher education institutions recommended to the study of “Bolashak” Program scholars. The Head of the State spoke about demand for more scholars to study in this country during the last visit to Hungary on November, 2007.</description>

            <description>The Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, The Ministry of Education and Science, JSC “Center for International Programs” and “Bolashak” Graduates Association organized the Forum of “Bolashak” program scholars which passed with participation of the Head of the State.350 graduates and 50 current scholars of the “Bolashak” program participated to the Forum. The “Bolashakers” offered concrete ways of increasing performance of not only the program itself, but in using knowledge of the graduates when they come back. In particular, they offered to send groups of young scientists for research in specified area, test model of graduate medical education and a placement of the graduates to regions.</description>
