Vice-president of JSC “Center for International Programs” Yerkezhan Apsemetova discussed problems of cooperation with representatives of the University of Warwick (Great Britain) during the meeting on Thursday. The guests made flattering remarks about the Bolashak Program, its primary goals and tasks. “Students from Kazakhstan take an active part in the social life of our university. “11 alumni of the Bolashak Program who has graduated from the Australian universities make the best use of the extensive experience, skills and expertise obtained and work in various spheres in Kazakhstan,” President of JSC “Center for International Programs” Daniyar Bekturganov told Dan Tebbutt, Senior Trade Commissioner for Russia and CIS of the Australian Trade Commission and Minister Counsellor Commercial on Wednesday.
According to Mr. Bekturganov, 58 Bolashak students are doing their academic degrees in Australia now. During the meeting the sides also touched upon enrollment and academic studies of the Bolashak scholars. The guests focused specifically on the peculiarities of the educational systems and the latest news in that sphere. They stressed they were keen to cooperate in future.

President of JSC “Center for International Programs” Daniyar Bekturganov met with Shi Yun xiao, the First Secretary of the People’s Republic of China Embassy in Kazakhstan. “I think that the Bolashak Program plays an important role in the personnel training in Kazakhstan,” Mr. Shi Yun xiao said. He also told about the analogous program that operated in China since 1978, recruitment of the foreign universities’ graduates, and privileges they had upon returning home. “Unfortunately, only 50% of the program alumni return home,” the guest stressed. “We have a lot to learn from you in that respect.” |
